Part of the weekend events for the opening ceremony of the WWII Memorial was a nice display of mostly privately owned WWII military vehicles and equipment. Most of the vehicles on display are owned by members of the Washington Area Collectors/Blue & Gray Military Vehicle Trust. These guys (and gals) had to come out for the entire weekend in order to put on this display and did so using their own money. My thanks go out to them for the amount of time and effort they have spent in order to restore these vehicles as a rolling memorial to all those that have served in our armed forces over the years. They have a web site at http://www.wacbgmvt.org/.
